Random Thoughts

Yeah, I don't got much today. Probably because there's a lot going on. I did hit 29K yesterday and I'm excited because this story is now flowing again. Whether it makes sense or not is yet to be seen. I know I talk a lot about my writing progress, but right now, that's what's consuming me. I'm also reading through a CPs MS and I'm reading this:
I'm about halfway through and I'm enjoying it. Has anyone read this? Did you enjoy it?

I also plan to start up Writing the Next Line. I know I said I would do this like over a month ago, but you know how life is. I plan to post something in about two weeks so stay tuned. Here is one to check out. That's all I got today except this tid bit:
Don't do a bleach load of laundry when wearing your favorite dark purple shirt. No matter how careful you are you will get bleach on it. Not fun.

How's your writing?

Have a great day!

  2. I haven't read it either but I want to. I've heard nothing but good about it. Congrats on hitting 29K! I think that when you get to this point, it really starts to feel like a novel, you know? Most people don't like middles, but I do--it re-energizes me to get the story finished and tie everything up! :)

  4. ooo, I read Matched back in Feb and liked it very much. It was compared to the Hunger Games, so I rec'd it for my Book Club. We agreed that this was what was going on in the Capitol while Katniss was out in the Districts doing her thing... :D

Here's my (nonspoiler!) blog post on it: http://bit.ly/gYDDDb

    see what you think~ :o) <3

  6. I haven't read Matched yet, but so many others have said it's wonderful. Just another book on my TBR list. LOL So proud of you for moving forward on your WIP. Hearts!! I'm getting there with my rewrite. 15,000 into it. Today's a big day in my plot so I need to make it happen. Wish me luck...and chocolates would be great.

  7. Congrats on the word count ...YAY!

I've never read MATCHED, but I have seen it around.

Buy a box of rid dye and touch up you skirt. Don't dip the whole thing just the bleached out area ... use a q-tip if it is a tiny area. It should work.

  10. 3k of your week's word count down by Wednesday sounds like you're right on track! I'm in the middle of a lead-up-to-sex scene so the writing is going pretty well.
